Introduction
As a Designer at UAC, you will help shape our university's visual identity. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and academic departments to create visually appealing graphics that showcase our dedication to excellence in calligraphy education. If you are creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about combining classic art forms with modern design approaches, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design engaging visual content for print and digital media, including brochures, posters, website graphics, and social media assets.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create design solutions that enhance the university’s branding and educational materials.
- Ensure consistency of design across all platforms and maintain adherence to UAC’s brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with design trends and tools, incorporating new techniques and ideas into your work.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Experience in designing for educational institutions or cultural organizations.
- Knowledge of Arabic calligraphy and its styles.
- Familiarity with web design and user experience (UX) principles.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing.
