Anatomy of the Letter Haa (Shape 1)
Full Animation of Haa
The Haa (هـ) Shape 1 is a distinctive and flowing letter in the Arabic script, celebrated for its rounded and balanced structure. In Thuluth calligraphy, the Haa is a beautiful representation of harmony, requiring precise strokes and graceful curves. Shape 1 of the Haa consists of five carefully crafted strokes, each playing a vital role in defining the letter's unique character.
1.First Stroke
Begin with a vertical stroke at an angle of 90°, creating the foundation of the letter.
This stroke measures 3 1/4 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width, establishing the base structure of the Haa.
2.Second Stroke
Transition to a diagonal stroke at an angle of 70°, introducing a graceful curve.
The dimensions are 2 1/4 nuqtas in height and 3 nuqtas in width, adding flow to the upper part of the letter.
3.Third Stroke
Add another diagonal stroke at 70°, forming the next segment of the curve.
This stroke measures 2 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width, connecting seamlessly to the second stroke.
4.Fourth Stroke
Continue with a slightly larger diagonal stroke at 75°, defining the outer curve.
This stroke measures 2 1/4 nuqtas in height and 4 nuqtas in width, giving the Haa its characteristic rounded appearance.
5.Fifth Stroke
Complete the Haa with its defining head, which adds precision and elegance to the letter’s design.
