The letter Laam in Thuluth consists of the following key parts:

Full Animation of Laam

The Laam (ل) is a graceful and elongated letter in the Arabic script, distinguished by its vertical prominence and balanced structure. In Thuluth calligraphy, the Laam stands out for its simplicity and elegance, requiring precision and proportional accuracy. Below is a breakdown of the three key strokes that compose this letter.

1.First Stroke

Begin with a tall vertical stroke at an angle of 75°, giving the letter its defining height and presence.

This stroke measures 7 nuqtas in height, forming the backbone of the Laam.

2.Second Stroke

Add a horizontal stroke at a 75° angle, extending outward to form the base of the letter.

The dimensions are 2 nuqtas in height and 4 nuqtas in width, providing stability and balance.

3.Third Stroke

Conclude with a shorter vertical stroke at a 90° angle, adding a refined finish.

This stroke measures 3 1/2 nuqtas in height and 1 nuqta in width, completing the letter with subtle elegance.
