The Kaaf (ك) shape 1 is a prominent letter in the Arabic script, known for its distinctive shape and striking proportions. In Thuluth calligraphy, the Kaaf combines bold strokes with graceful transitions, creating a letter that embodies both strength and elegance. Below is a detailed breakdown of the three key strokes that form this letter.

1.First Stroke

Begin with a vertical stroke at an angle of 75°, giving the letter its tall and commanding presence.

This stroke measures 7 nuqtas in height, serving as the backbone of the Kaaf.

2.Second Stroke

Add a horizontal stroke at a 75° angle, extending outward to form the base of the letter.

The stroke measures 2 nuqtas in height and 4 nuqtas in width, creating balance and structure.

3.Third Stroke

Complete the letter with a shorter vertical stroke at a 75° angle.

This stroke measures 3  nuqtas in height and 2 nuqta in width, adding refinement and finality to the Kaaf.
