Anatomy of the Letter Yaa (Shape 1)
Full Animation of Yaa
The Yaa (ي) in Shape 1 is a beautifully structured letter in Arabic calligraphy, combining vertical elegance with dynamic strokes. In the Thuluth style, this form of the Yaa emphasizes balance, proportionality, and graceful flow. Composed of four distinct strokes, Shape 1 is a stunning representation of Arabic script's artistry.
1.First Stroke
Start with a diagonal stroke at an angle of 70°, introducing a sense of motion and flow.
This stroke measures 2 1/2 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width, forming the foundational curve of the Yaa.
2.Secend Stroke
Add a vertical stroke at an angle of 90°, connecting seamlessly to the first stroke.
The dimensions are 2 1/2 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width, creating the central body of the letter.
3.Third Stroke
Extend the structure with another vertical stroke at 90°, slightly broader than the second stroke.
This stroke measures 2 1/2 nuqtas in height and 3 nuqtas in width, emphasizing the letter's presence.
4.Fourth Stroke
