The Raa (ر) in Shape 3 is a bold and structured variation of the letter, emphasizing symmetry and clean lines. This version stands out with its precise proportions and distinct angles, making it a striking element in Thuluth calligraphy. Below, we outline the three foundational strokes that form this unique shape.

1.First Stroke

Begin with a vertical stroke at a 90° angle for a clean, straight start.

The stroke measures 2 nuqtas in width and 1 nuqta in height, forming the base of the letter.

2.Secend Stroke

Start the next stroke at a 90° angle as well, ensuring consistency with the first.

Extend it to a width of 3 1/2 nuqtas and a height of 2 1/2 nuqtas, creating a gentle curve that flows upward.

3.Third Stroke

Conclude with another 90° angle stroke to complete the structure.

This final stroke measures 1 nuqta in width and 2 1/2 nuqtas in height, adding the finishing touch to the letter.
