The Waw (و) in Shape 2 is a dynamic and elegant letter, reflecting the artistic complexity of Arabic calligraphy. In the Thuluth style, this variation of the Waw combines structured vertical strokes with flowing curves, emphasizing balance and refinement. Composed of four distinct elements, Shape 2 offers a graceful interpretation of this iconic letter.

1.First Stroke

This stroke measures 2 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width, creating a solid base.

2.Second Stroke

Add another vertical stroke at 90°, mirroring the first for structural symmetry.

This stroke is identical in size, with dimensions of 2 nuqtas in height and 2 nuqtas in width.

3.Third Stroke

Transition to a longer, diagonal stroke at an angle of 70°, introducing motion and fluidity.

This stroke measures 6 nuqtas in height and 2 1/2 nuqtas in width, forming the main body of the Waw.

Conclude with a delicate, artistic drawing for the final part of the stroke.

This element spans 2 nuqtas in width, adding an elegant flourish that completes the letter.
